Donna Berger – Creating a Portrait From Reference Photos

Donna Berger, well-known local artist and illustrator will show how she creates her portraits. She will demonstrate her method of starting with Photoshop software to compose the portrait layout and then, before starting the painting, adding photo elements which will help tell the subject’s story. Donna will use an existing portrait and show photos that she took while creating it. After showing this process, she will demonstrate her painting method, oil on canvas, and
answer questions from the Zoom audience.
Donna paints in an expressive realistic style. One of her self-portraits is currently in the Brush Annual Member Show. in Lowell.
