Since 2016, my focus has been street photography because of the potential to create unique images that can stimulate imagination. My camera is with me during photo hikes, bicycle tours, and travel. These activities are opportunities for me to capture special moments.
My street photos range from playful to empathetic and from portraits to anonymous silhouettes. Each is intended to convey a story or a message in a unique and spontaneous way. I enjoy the process of making composition decisions on the street with no opportunities for redoing a shot as there would be in a studio. My editing is usually limited to cropping and color correction.
I am a member of the Arts League of Lowell and the Photographic Society of America.
