Our 4th of July Arts Festival is one of the most anticipated & best-attended art events in the area. Everyone can enter from any town in the region. We welcome every level of artist from those entering a show for the first time to full time professionals. Membership is not required to participate.

Entry Deadline: Wednesday June 24th at 11:59pm
*No walk in entries or payments
Art Drop Off: Monday June 29th noon – 2pm & 5pm – 7pm

Wednesday July 1st 6pm-8pm
Art Pick Up: Saturday July 4th – 1pm – 2pm
Late Art Pick Up: Monday July 6th – 1pm – 3pm

Entry Information
– Three entries per artist.
– Entry Fee: Members: $15.00 Non-Members: $20.00 per entry
– All 2D and 3D media welcome.
– Art must have not been in Chelmsford Art Society shows in the last 4 years and with subject matter suitable for general patrons and children.
– Art must be original. Artificial Intelligence Art is not accepted.
– (2D) Art should be no larger than 44″ in any direction.
– Art must be framed* and securely wired with screw eyes/D-rings and wire for hanging (sawtooth or clip frames cannot be accepted) Accepted: plexiglass or glass, metal frames, photos printed on metal. No wet paintings. Framing Information
*Fiber art and wrapped canvas do not need to be framed.
– (3D) Sculpture and 3-dimensional work must be less than 5 feet in height, 40 pounds or less, and fit within a 3×3 foot area.
– Small 3D work will be on display tables. *Please provide a pedestal larger sculptures.

Judging Categories: Professional vs Non Professional
You are a Professional if you have 2 or more of the following criteria: you earned a degree in fine art, extensively studied art, won major awards in juried art shows, regularly have artwork in a gallery, or sell art to make a living.
Sales: Artists receive 75% and the Art Society receives a 25% All sales will be handled by the Art Society. The sales commission and the entry fees support this show and the overall work of the Chelmsford Art Society.
Liability: Neither the Art Society nor the Chelmsford Center for the Arts is responsible for the loss or damage to any work submitted for any cause. Submitting work will imply agreement on the part of the artist with this condition.
