In addition to her studio work she has also taught art to children and young adults in both public and private school settings as well as in her own studio for over 16 years.
“As an artist my work continues to evolve as I explore variations in portraiture, landscape, abstract painting and mixed media sculpture. In my process I use color, gesture, representational imagery, abstraction and movement in ways that are both intuitive and intentional. This allows me the freedom to speak freely in a language that does not need words in order to communicate ideas and experiences that are both personal and meaningful to me at any given time and place..”
