I’m a Massachusetts-based painter working primarily in acrylics. A native of Cambridge, I have lived in Bedford, Massachusetts, for many years.
Artwork has become my primary focus—and my passion—since my retirement from a career as a development (content) editor in college textbook publishing. My favorite subject matter includes landscapes, human figures, and floral still lifes.
When needing a break from my acrylic work, I turn to collage, watercolor, or drawing. I also love taking photographs and using them as inspirational sources for my paintings.
I am an active member (and a past president) of the Bedford Arts and Crafts Society. I am also a member of Concord Art and a contributing member of the Rockport Art Association. For the past several years, I have served on a Bedford town committee that has worked toward the establishment of a state-designated cultural district in Bedford. The committee has just learned that, by unanimous vote of the Massachusetts Cultural Council’s governing board, Bedford has officially been awarded cultural district status.
