Don Ouellette, award winning landscape painter is our February presenter. He enjoys capturing the vanishing New England scene, trying to preserve the emotional response of those places that hold special meaning to the artist. He is a resident of Massachusetts who works in oil and watercolor.
Don began his study of watercolor painting with his father, Art, in 1975. He also studied with Jack Flynn A.W.S. Carlton Plummer A.W.S., Murray Wentworth N.A., Guy Dampier and David Lowrey. Don is a member of the Lowell Art Association, Whistler House Museum of Art. His work can be found in many corporate and private collections, including Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, the City of Lowell, Lowell Community Health Center and Enterprise Bank.
