About CAS

The Chelmsford Art Society is proud to provide area artists with a forum to share and to grow. Part of our ultimate goal is to bring recognition and participation of the Arts to the surrounding community.

The Chelmsford Art Society has made available to the membership the benefit of displaying artwork in local business establishments.

Through this website, local art shows and competitions are announced, providing opportunities for members to show their work to the public. At the monthly meetings, which are held on the last Wednesday of each month from September to May, guest artists demonstrate and provide insight to their creative process.

There are also occasional field trips and other special activities throughout the year. The major events include the July 4th Art Exhibit, and the December member show.
