The Chelmsford Art Society yearly offers a Shirley Lavoie Memorial Scholarship to a deserving graduating high school senior.
This scholarship will be awarded to a student who has indicated a desire to further their education in Fine Arts/Visual Arts. Visual Arts include architecture, ceramics, drawing, fashion, graphic design, illustration, interior design, painting, sculpture, photography, video production, etc.
Verification of college acceptance must accompany this application. Payment of the award will be made directly to the school at which the applicant has been accepted and enrolled.
The Scholarship Ceremony is at the 4th of July Art Festival. The scholarship winner is expected to provide several matted or framed pieces for display at the Art Festival. Should the Festival not happen this year, we will arrange another way to present the award.
